Columbine Country Club
WELCOME TO Columbine Country Club
Columbine Valley is a one-of-a-kind small town built around Columbine Country Club. The club was founded in 1955 on the former Heckendorf Farm along the South Platte River, and the Town of Columbine Valley was incorporated a few years later, in 1959. The championship course has real history: it hosted the 1967 PGA Championship, and a 2018 renovation by Rees Jones refreshed it for today's golfers.
The Homes
You'll find a wide variety of homes here. Older townhomes start around $800,000 depending on updates, while new and newer construction on the golf course sells in the $3 million range. Lot sizes vary from neighborhood to neighborhood, and many homes back to the golf course with amazing views.
Because the community has grown over several decades, the architecture is wonderfully varied. Original homes sit alongside fully remodeled properties and brand new custom builds, so there are options whether you want something move-in ready or a home you can make your own.
Life in Columbine Valley
It's a fun, friendly area where you'll see neighbors golf carting around town and out walking their dogs on quiet, tree-lined streets. There are a few park spaces to enjoy, and the summer concerts at the Columbine Valley Town Hall are a highlight of the season.
Summer here comes with its own soundtrack. If you're over near Driver Lane, you can often hear live music drifting across the river from Breckenridge Brewery. And on the northern end of the neighborhood, you can definitely hear the summer concerts at Hudson Gardens, which is so much fun!
Location
Even with its peaceful, tucked-away feel, Columbine Valley is close to everything. The shops, restaurants and events of Historic Downtown Littleton are a short drive away, Hudson Gardens and the Mary Carter Greenway trail along the South Platte River are nearby, and Santa Fe Drive makes for an easy trip into Denver. Columbine Valley is part of the Littleton Public Schools district; visit the district's website for current boundary information.
